This stunning fanfare is a take on the unsettled political climate of the US in 2018 and how it looks through the eyes of a young adult. Despite much confusion and conflict, it is empowering to see people my age who shout out and make their voices heard. This fanfare is a short portrait of youthful determination, and a celebration of the youngest generations of American adults. Winner, Dallas Winds Fanfare Competition. Premiered at the Meyerson Symphony Center, Dallas, July 2019.
